We’ll admit that this one is more of a personal attribute than a skill you learn. However, it doesn’t make it any less important for your work. You must be dependable and reliable such that whenever your colleague requires you to do something, they can trust that you’ll always come through.

The landscape of the business world is always changing. Even if you’re at the bottom of the corporate ladder, eventually, things will shake enough for you to feel it. One critical employability skill that you need to have is to be able to adapt to different conditions. Without it, you might not be able to survive the twists and turns of the business world.

Most remote jobs require you to function within a group. Even as an entrepreneur, you’ll still have to work with a number of people to bring your dream to fruition. It isn’t a luxury. It is a necessity, and that’s just how things are. If you wish to be employable, you need to learn how to function optimally within a team.

  1. Leadership

Granted, leadership is a gift that some have more than others. But that doesn’t mean that you can’t learn it. When you teach yourself how to coordinate small groups and get the best results out of them, you’ll be increasing your employability. What’s more is that you might be setting yourself up for a promotion because a good leader will be a great employee manager.
