This part is so important that I cannot bear to leave it out. When you are trying to manage your time effectively, your worst enemy is that cool YouTube channel or that funny clip on Instagram. As much as you can, eliminate every distraction. That way, you would be able to focus much more easily and you can manage your time effectively to achieve your goals. Besides, too much social media isn’t good for you.

3. Take a break occasionally

When you are trying to be more effective, it is absolutely normal for you to want to work for several hours at a stretch. After all, if you want to do it, you might as well make it fast. Well, while this might seem like a good idea, it is actually quite questionable. This is so because the longer you stay awake at work, the less cognitive function your brain has. As such, take a break every now and then. The goal isn’t to work for multiple hours on end but to stay effective for as long as humanly possible.
